Work with us at UPR Warrnambool

Come and do work that genuinely makes a difference.

At Ultimate Performance & Rehab, we believe Movement is Medicine.

We’re an Exercise Physiology-led clinic in Warrnambool, helping people bridge the gap between injury and performance. That might mean returning to movement after surgery, managing a chronic health condition, building stronger bones, returning to sport or simply feeling stronger and more confident.

UPR isn’t a traditional gym, and we’re not your typical allied health clinic.

We’ve created a welcoming, non-intimidating space where clinical knowledge and real-world movement come together. Our team works across Exercise Physiology, Clinical Pilates, Reformer Pilates, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation and hands-on therapy.

Our clients range from people taking their first steps back into exercise through to experienced exercisers and athletes working towards performance goals.

We’re currently looking for the following people to join UPR:

  • Accredited Exercise Physiologist

  • Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist

  • Administration and Reception Team Member

  • Pilates Practitioner

We welcome applications from new graduates through to experienced practitioners. We’re interested in finding the right people and creating roles that make the best use of their individual strengths, experience and interests.

If you care about people, value evidence-based practice and want to work in a supportive environment where movement is used purposefully, we’d love to hear from you.

Our clients range from people living with chronic health conditions or disability through to active individuals and athletes.

  • Pay close attention to detail

  • Can manage competing tasks without losing track of the client experience

  • Are comfortable learning new software and systems

  • Communicate professionally by telephone, email and in person

  • Show initiative and enjoy finding practical solutions

  • Understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality

  • Work well independently and as part of a small team

Previous reception, administration, healthcare, allied-health, fitness or customer-service experience would be valuable but is not essential for the right person.

Experience with Momence, Cliniko, NDIS, Medicare, DVA or WorkCover administration would be advantageous.

What we offer

  • A friendly and supportive team environment

  • A varied role with meaningful client interaction

This is an opportunity to work within an Exercise Physiology-led clinic where Pilates is used alongside progressive strength training, rehabilitation and purposeful movement.

We’re open to hearing from practitioners interested in Clinical/Studio Pilates, Fitness Reformer or a combination of both. Rather than fitting the successful applicant into a rigid position, we’re happy to shape the role around their qualifications, experience, availability and areas of interest.

About UPR

  • Contributing ideas to the continued development of UPR’s Pilates services

The successful applicant won’t be expected to teach every type of session. The role can be developed around what you’re qualified and confident to deliver, as well as the areas you would like to develop.

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold a recognised Pilates qualification relevant to the sessions you would deliver

  • Value evidence-informed practice and continued learning

  • Work well independently while enjoying collaboration with a broader team

  • Help people feel comfortable in an exercise environment

Newly qualified practitioners are encouraged to apply if they are keen to learn, open to feedback and confident working within their current scope.

What we offer

  • Part-time or casual hours, with the potential for the role to grow

  • An established and welcoming client community

  • Access to a wide range of Pilates, strength and rehabilitation equipment

  • Collaboration with experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologists

  • Support to develop your practical skills and professional interests

  • Appropriate professional registration or association membership where applicable

  • Relevant professional and public liability insurance where required

  • A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one

  • The right to work in Australia

Hours and remuneration

Hours: Part-time or casual hours are available and can be negotiated according to the successful applicant’s availability and the sessions they are qualified to deliver.

Remuneration: Based on qualifications, experience, responsibilities and the agreed employment arrangement, plus superannuation and applicable loadings.

Commencement

We would love someone to commence as soon as possible; however, the starting date is negotiable for the right applicant.

  • Your Pilates qualifications and teaching experience

  • The apparatus and class formats you’re qualified to deliver

  • Whether you’re interested in Clinical/Studio Pilates, Fitness Reformer or both

  • Your weekly availability and preferred commencement date

  • Your professional interests and any areas you would like to develop

We don’t expect every applicant to offer everything listed above. If you believe you could contribute to UPR and grow within our team, we encourage you to apply.
