GROUP FITNESS REFORMER
What is Group Fitness Reformer?
Group Fitness Reformer involves a low-impact workout that is led by a qualified pilates practitioner. UPR offers both beginner, open level and weights based classes. It is performed on a special machine called a reformer, which uses springs and pulleys to provide resistance. It can also include additional props such as weights, magic circles or chi balls.

Pilates is a great form of exercise that can help to improve your strength, flexibility, and balance. It can also help to improve your posture and overall body awareness. Pilates can help to reduce stress, improve joint mobility, and improve core stability. In addition, it can help to improve your cardiovascular health and help to improve circulation. Finally, it can help to improve your coordination, coordination of movement, and help to reduce the risk of injury.

Our pre & post-natal Pilates gives you tools for deep support and mental strength throughout your pregnancy, as well as post-pregnancy to help reconnect with your body and recover from giving birth.
We have one pre-natal friendly class on our timetable - Wednesday’s at 7am. We ask our clients who are 16 weeks or beyond to please only attend this session as modifications will need to be made.
Otherwise, we highly recommend our clinical pilates for mums to be!
If you are postnatal, we recommend waiting for 6 – 8 weeks after birth, depending on your circumstances. A doctor’s clearance is recommended prior to commencing any exercise.
