Exercise is a recommended part of best practice in cancer care and has been shown to be safe and effective through all stages of cancer.
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) will work with you at your pace to make sure the exercise is at a suitable level and any concerns are addressed
AEPs are the leading profession in regards to exercise prescription and specialise in the prescription and delivery of exercise for the management and prevention of chronic diseases and injuries.
Our AEPs at UPR have a minimum 4 year university degree, including a postgraduate qualification, and further Oncology training.

All sessions are led by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, ensuring a high standard of clinical, evidence-based care. Our focus is on safe, individualised exercise that supports your specific condition, goals, and long-term health outcomes.
Comprehensive Assessment & Personalised Plan
Before starting group sessions, you’ll complete a 1:1 assessment including a detailed medical history and movement screening. From this, we create a tailored program and provide a home exercise plan, along with a theraband and UPR Oncology Booklet to support your progress outside the clinic.
Ongoing Support & Small Group Training
Our 1:4 sessions offer a balance of personalised guidance and group support. Your program is regularly reviewed and progressed, ensuring you continue to build strength, confidence, and capacity in a supportive environment.
